Neon Day

Today was neon day.  Sadie had a great time with this one.  We found an outfit at target, along with sunglasses.  Hopefully she will be wearing it again.  I put this weird pink gel in her hair.  It was really hard to get out, but it looked cool.  Kristin took the picture of Sadie, Jason and Micah. I loved this one so much, It will look great in the yearbook!

Family Fun Day

Today was family fun day in the second grade, it was also Twin day.  Sadie got together with a group of her friends and decided what to wear, so it was more like quintuplets.  They had a huge feast for lunch and got to play board games all afternoon.  It was so much fun.  Afterwards I wanted to try to get a picture of her blowing a dandelion, but I'm not sure I succeded…

Jersey Day & Bible Projects

Today we had our bible projects due.  I always dread working on them because they are supposed to take tons of hours, and they do.  I get a little overly involved in them.  But this year we did a little better.  Sophia embroidered a pillow.  I taught her one stitch and she pretty much used it for the whole motif.  She choose Adam & Eve.  She got a good grade and learned something at the same time.

Madison did this plate that was so cool, but then she painted some paint on top of it which made it look not nearly as cool.  She made it entirely out of clay then carved the fruits of the spirit in it.  Then carved the word love in the middle.  Then fired it.  I thought it looked great that way, but she added some paint  on top of the glaze that didn't look as nice as the rest of the project, but once she did it it was done.  She still got a good grade, and learned how to make a slump mold with clay.  It was cool.

Today also happened to be Jersey day at the Junior High so I got some fun shots with Sophia and her "crew."  Those ladies crack me up every time!

Hello Blog

After a seven and a half month break I have finally decided what to do with this blog.  I was so sick of blogging by the end of 2011 that it felt blahhh just to think about it but now I am looking back with love and affection.  So I have decided to back blog the seven months I have missed!  I don't think anybody really cares or reads it but now it will be more like a what I'm up to and into at the time.   So here it goes…January 2012.

Sadie got the cutest outfit and owl skirt from Grandma for Christmas, and now that she is back to school she is finally getting the chance to show it off!  I am in love with her big blue eyes and fabulous smile.  What a lucky lady I am!!!
