Feed Me!!!

I took this picture of a momma robin feeding her babies this morning.  I had to stand on the arm of a sofa and press my lens against the window for an hour.  I makes for a cool picture though so it was worth it.  Man their mouths are huge

Lots of Spots

Ok so Madison wasn't thrilled about this but I sort of "made" them get matching P.J.'s.  Is that wrong?  Am I a bad mother?
Do these Pajamas remind any one of a picture book when you were a kid?  It had a cat maybe that was yellow with dots on him.  I can't remember very well.  I am going to find it and post it at the bottom…

After much searching I found the book.  It's called Put Me in The Zoo.  I totally remember reading this one as a kid.  I loved this one!

Obama and the Country Mustache

Now that the bike bath is finished this Summer we can bike ride into Victor.  It is definitely more fun to ride bikes when you are going somewhere!  The girls and I went to Victor and picked up Grandma's mail and got smoothies at the coffee cart.  They saw this truck with a guy with a "country mustache" and thought it was really funny so we got a picture.  (A country mustache is any mustache that is huge and bushy and exists in the country - Sophia)

Riding on the River

Enjoying an afternoon riverside, even Jer came to hang out with me and the girls.  Sadie even got Dylan to ride on the tubes a couple times.  It was a really short trip but the kids had fun.  Sadie found a frog just before we headed out and stuck it in the box of the quad.  Poor thing I bet it was scared half to death.  She stuck it in a cooler for "safe keeping".

Fun with Dylan!

This morning we went to the farmers market, well morning might be a more relative term.  As soon as we could get this motley crew out of the house, we left.  It made for a nice morning with the kids.  We headed home for Dylan"s nap (when it is nap time it is definitely nap time!).  Then spent the rest of the day at the house.  She was in stinker mode tonight when I was trying to get pictures of her in the field with the big girls.  So I banished her to a quad and took some shots of the sisters!  I know I say it all the time but when did my girls grow up?

Frogging

He lives to hop another day!  Sadie's frog made it through the night and since I explained to her that we have a one night stay maximum for critters we went back down to the water to let him go.  Not before he peed on her and made her cry though!

Montana Beach

Sadie and Maddy and I went down to "Montana Beach" today to get an idea of how high the river is, It is pretty low this year due to a fairly mild spring.  I don't think we'll get to come down here for long this Summer.  We are going to have to find another spot to hang out in a few weeks when everything gets dried up.  I took a couple pictures with the lens baby then took a nap.  Lovely afternoon!

Little Stinkers

I took the "littles" out this afternoon for some pictures in the weeds.  They are a couple of crazies!  I was so hard to get any pictures of them not making the strangest faces, let alone making nice faces at the same time!!

Unexpected Guest

Look what grandma brought back from Vegas!  We are enjoying a little visit from the littlest member of our family.  She is having a great time and boy does she think Sadie is the best ever!  She also thinks uncle Jer is a special guy too.  Dylan, I agree!

Travel Day Two

Today we gave up in Spencer, Idaho the opal capital of the world.  No hookups, no wifi.  But absolutely beautiful.  The road today was so windy that we had to find a close place to drop anchor.  This camp ground costs a whopping $8.  I am pretty sure we are the only people here! But I really feel like we are camping in the wilderness.

Slowly making our way!

Well dragging the trailer out to Montana sure takes a lot of gas and extra time.  But i will take camping in our trailer to staying in a cheap hotel any time!  Tonight we stayed at the KOA in Beaver Utah.  Not many trees, but it suits our needs fine!  Full hook-ups and wifi!  It's nice to be able to check on and chat with people while relaxing in our chairs.  It's Father's Day today and I made sure to bring Jer a couple special beers.  The girls bought him a Chargers hat.  It's just Jer, Sadie and I on this leg of the trip the girls went out to Las Vegas with grandma to meet up with Dylan to hang out and Sadie's dance recital kept her home with us.  They will meet us in Montana.  Can't wait to get there!

First Beach Day!

First day at the beach.  Is it just me or is it freezing?  The kids of course didn't seem to mind.  They still ran around in the water and went boogie boarding.  As for the ladies we huddled up and tried to stay warm!  When Heidi suggested we go to their pool instead, we jumped at the opportunity.  It's not where you are but who you're with!

Enough said!

Happy Birthday to Me…well Us!

So it's my birthday, whoop whoop!  Well more like it's our birthday.  What could be better than sharing your birthday with one of your closest friends and partner in crime?  Pretty much nothing!  So for Kristin's and my birthday Vanessa and Heidi surprised us with a downtown pub crawl.  We took the coaster to the trolley then walked into the gas lamp.  They had it all planned out where we would go and at what time.  There were appetizers at each place we went it was so much fun.  I had just the most amazing birthday this year.  How will I top this when I turn 40 next year?  Watch me try.
