Camping in Julian

Another amazing camping trip.  It is still a little early for mountain camping, but with the heater in the trailer and campfires we are keeping pretty cozy.  At least nobody is complaining.  Today we fished, made smores, and went into town for cider.  Great day.  I think the plan is to play cards tonight…Hooray!

Running Into Grandparents Day

Ahhh my little grade schooler!  Sadie had a big day at school today.  It was grandparents day.  I am so thankful to have parents that take time out of their lives to come spend the morning at school with my daughter.  I guess they already know how quickly times passes and are making the most of today.  So thanks Mom and Dad for flying out to make a little girl's day.  It means the world to her, and me too!

The grade school also had their first walk-a-thon after the grandparents day festivities.  As you can see by my sweaty little runner.  There was little to no walking but lots of running!  She loved every second.  Go Sadie!

Madison's Got Game

Madison played basketball again for the second year.  She has definitely improved.  She has an amazing amount of energy!  Where does it all come from.  I think she can run for hours without stopping.  I was never like that.  I am so blessed by my oldest child, she is amazing!

Clover Game

Sophia and her friends were looking mighty festive today for the Clover Game at school!  Sophia didn't manage to get any clover from the boys today, but that's nothing new.  She never seems to stop talking long enough to let anybody else talk!

Madison, when did you grew up?

I can't believe Madison is already graduating eighth grade this year.  It seems like yesterday she was starting Kindergarten.  I remember her sad face when I picked her up that day, she didn't want to go home!  I took this picture for the yearbook of the eighth grade class.  We were so lucky to have everybody there.  Next stop high school.

Naomi's Shower!!

Tonight was the shower for Naomi and Karyn.  Finally!  We have been working hard for weeks and I wasn't sure it would all come together but it did.  Everything looked amazing, Shannon did a great job with decorating and the flowers were out of this world.  I hope Karyn had as good a time as everybody else.  And Mike even made an appearance.  

Wonderland

Sophia agreed to do Kristin a favor and pose for a project she was working on.  She dressed up as Alice and posed for some pictures down at the park.  Of course Kristin's pictures are amazing!  But I snapped a few as well.  If you want to see the ones Kristin took check out this link…

Petifours Anyone?

Man I forgot how hard these bad boys are to make!  They took absolutely forrever. But I also forgot how amazing they taste.  Yummy.  I over pinked the fontant icing a bit, but it's for Karyn's baby shower.  Can you ever really have enough pink at a little girl's baby shower?  I don't think so.
