243/365 Sadie's New Job

Sadie has taken over the watering of the tomato plants.  I think it's a good job for her, plus I won't forget

that way!  She does look a lot cuter with a watering can than I do.

242/365 Back to School

Sadie is starting 2nd grade, Sophia is starting 6th (Junior High!) and Madison is starting 8th grade.  I pray

that they will have a wonderful year filled with fun and learning.  Boring but true!  I love you girls and I

am so proud of each one of you.

241/365 Out With A Bang

Well summer is over and school starts tomorrow, one last day of fun.  We decided to spend it with friends

at Knotts Soak City.  We had a great time.  But now I am so tired and must sleep.

240/365 Shark Boy?

We have been having a bit of a heat wave and we are very grateful for our neighbors who allow us to

spend these hot afternoons lying around their pool!  I may use this one for bribery purposes later.  He's no

Taylor Lautner, but he's mine.

239/365 Super Soccer Sadie

Soccer season has begun!  I am crazy running around to practices again this year, but the girls are having

a great time, so totally worth it.  The first photo, you would think Sadie had just scored, but if I recall

correctly the game hadn't even started yet!  In the second she was stopping a ball, while playing goalie!

Go Sadie!

238/365 It's all in focus!

I have been wanting this tweaky toy thing for my camera.  But before I can get it I have to be sure that I

can manually focus.  I shoot in manual mode now, but I always autofocus.  Here is a first attempt!

237/365 Trailer Trash

We finally decided to get a trailer.  So many of our friends have trailers and motor homes, and we have

been talking about it for years.  Well we finally did it and bought one.  I think it should be the perfect fit for

our family.  Hopefully there will be many camping related blog posts in our future.

236/365 Homeward Bound

I am looking forward to getting home to spend the last few days, before the girls start school, having a

little more fun.  Dad is doing well this morning.  I am starting to suspect that the reason he may be

having all these problems my have something to do with the fact I just noticed he got a new

quad...suspicious.  I'm pretty sure when the Doctor says no driving, ATV's are included.

235/365 Still Here

Dad was feeling good today for a while then he wasn't so we headed back to the ER.  It was a long,

worrisome day.  I head home tomorrow around the same time my mom arrives.

234/365 Surprise...Montana!

The reason my Mother was packing up and moving all by herself, is that my Dad just had surgery last

week.  He seemed to be doing great then he took a little down turn and ended up in the Emergency Room

several times.  Then Rex got sick and found himself in the hospital!  (My parents dog) So with nobody

there to keep an eye on these guys, I decided to head out here for a couple days.  And here I am!  I really

didn't do too much today, I arrived in Missoula just after lunch and then headed to Hamilton to pick up dad

at the hospital.  The river is so low, compared to when we left just over three weeks ago!  But it is still so

beautiful.

233/365 House Shopping

House shopping with my Mother is like being a kid in a china shop, look but do not touch!  I had a lovely

day but we were really running through those houses.  We saw 5 houses in two hours.  But we definitely

saw a couple winners.   One in particular.  This was both of our favorite.  It's not a great view of the house,

but you get the idea.  Yea I could visit here for Christmas.

232/365 Coffee Love

My parents have sold their house here in San Diego and will eventually be buying a new home, but until

then their stuff is mostly in storage...except for this baby.  I envy this coffee maker, I want one so bad but

alas it is out of reach for mere mortals like me.  So while it is staying here with me you should totally take

advantage of it and come have coffee with me!  "Other than being gigantic what makes this coffee maker

special?"  You are probably asking.  It is the one touch cappuccino or latte button.  With the press of a

button I have a delicious frothy coffee just waiting to be devoured!  I love you Jura coffee maker!

231/365 Camilla Parker Bowles and Arden

I get together with my girlfriends from college several times a year.  However, for some reason I never

see Kim's daughters except for on Facebook.  I was starting to wonder if they really exsisted.  I made a

little blanket for Arden back in January (Arden's Baby Quilt) and I was so excited to finally meet her.

She tried to eat my face, which was weird...maybe she was trying to kiss me.  Anyways I found her to

be adorable and hilarious.  Which is what every baby should be.  She just turned one a couple weeks

ago.  I enjoyed getting to know her a little bit.  Oh I almost forgot!  This is Camilla isn't she absolutely

absurd.  I love that dog!

230/365 Beach Day!

Back to the beach before summer ends!  We had so much fun!  Sadie brought Madison Brown and

Sophia Brought Madison Parker...I just brought Madison.  Sadie made me a luau platter.  It was

delicious, especially the Now-N-Later wrapper.  The Ladies, as always had a great time.

229/365 The Artist

Sadie, what can I do about Sadie.  She is quite a prolific artist.  I love her stuff but she makes the weirdest

things.  Not pictures it's like something else all together.  She will either be an amazing artist or will move

to the desert and sell junk yard sculptures from the side of the road.  I have these little do dads all over the

house and I love them but some of them have to go.  So I have decided I will take pictures of them so that I

can "recycle" them.  Am I a bad mom?  I do love her treasures so.

228/365 Ladies Night

Tonight I went out with Missy, Kristin, and Erica to Hacienda De Vega.  I just love that restaurant! The

food is amazing.  We had a taco sampler platter they were all so good but you can't beat their Margaritas.

My favorite is the Hacienda Margarita.  It is so good with the chile on the rim. Yummy!  Of course we had

fun tonight.  We laughed so hard.  I am so blessed with these amazing friends!

227/365 How does your garden grow?

Well it's been a week or so, I planted two of my four garden boxes.  One is now completely empty of

plants, stinking critters!  But my tomato box is looking pretty good.  I have four tomato plants and two

pepper plants.  Let's see if I can remember to water them!

226/365 Saw the Morrills...Finally

So I have been dying to see Mike, Karyn and the kids.  But they went on vacation just as soon as we got

home (why don't people plan their lives around my wants and needs?).  Since they returned they have been

so busy so finally all the stars allined and we got to see each other.  I immediately grabbed Maverick for a

few shots on the front lawn, he did good...until he was done.  He has changed so much since I last saw him

in May!  But he's still as cute as pie, don't you think?  We went out to BJ's while Maddy and Fia watched

the little kids.  It is so nice to have a sitter here all the time.  We had a nice long dinner, chatting and

catching up.  In the meantime the girls were trying to get the baby to go to sleep.  When we came home

Maverick was in the middle of the family room in a pack n play!  I asked what they were thinking?  How is

he supposed to get to sleep in here.  Sophia said she couldn't bear to hear him cry in the back room, she had

to have him where she couldn't cuddle him at a moments notice!

225/365 Braids

I have recently really started enjoying braiding the girls hair.  It is so much fun to do, especially now that

they are old enough to sit still.  I just start and I can't stop until it looks cool.  I just love it, unfortunately

this means I will have to get up really early if I'm doing this during the school year!

224/365 Sophia & Syona

Sophia and Syona have been neighborhood friends sine they were little babies, they even share the same

birthday.  Sometimes they have a hard time getting along, but this summer they have decided to work

through it and are having a great time together!  Today they spent the morning here then went over to

Syona's house for swimming and dinner.  I just can't believe how big they are both getting!

223/365 Season Home Opener

Go Chargers!  Our first home game was tonight.  They looked pretty good.  I see a few holes though.  I

just hope these guys can stay healthy this year and really play to their potential.  On a side note I had a blast

at the game we took 5 little girls (2 were mine).  We had a great time.  I got all chocked up when they had a

moment of silence for the SDPD officer that was recently killed in the line of duty.  I took a picture on my

phone, but I need a special cord to get it on to my computer...lame.  So picture to follow.  I just wanted to

blog it so I could move along with my next pictures!

222/365 Where did all these kids come from!

Today I had half a million children at my home.  OK so it was only nine, but I am not so great with

juggling!  I had to be on my toes.  We had all aged, shapes, sizes and even a set of identical twins!  This

was the only picture I could get.  This was snack time, not lunch, keep that in mind!

221/365 I love the beach..."sigh"

Dragged the girls out to the beach today.  It was the best, as usual.  You can't beat time relaxing in a

beach chair, watching the girls have fun with their friends, while I chat with my friends.  Does it get any

better than this.  No I don't think that it does.  (That last sentence was added because I have been posing

too many rhetorical questions lately).  P.S. some of these pictures, I didn't take.  They were just my

favorites from the beach.

220/365 Are Those Naked Ladies?

Why yes these are my naked ladies!  I look forward to these ladies coming up twice a year.  They are so

beautiful and definitely my favorite flower in the yard.  When we first moved in they lined the walkway,

but we moved them after we landscaped.  I am so glad we didn't get rid of them altogether!

219/365 The Green Thumb Urge

I went to the Escondido farmers market the other day, I came home with some wonderful vegetables but

they seemed really expensive to me.  So I decided to replant the garden.  I know it's late in the Summer but

I'm going to see how it grows or goes.  So I planted some cilantro the first day and the next day the rabbits

had eaten it all.  So now I have some in a small planter on my deck, isn't it pretty!  And it smells amazing

too.

218/365 The Queen Bee Market

Where have you been all my life Queen Bee Market?  I stumbled on this craft fair website through a

friends facebook page and thought "Hey this looks like fun!"  But when it came to the day of the show, I

had stuff going on and I didn't really make it a priotity so it just didn't happen.  When Vanessa texted me

that it was happening again and that she needed a date, I was in.  Wow this WAS the Queen Bee of

Craft Fairs, at least for me.  I pretty much loved everything there and the booths were so clever and well

decorated.  Just beautiful.  It wasn't too big so you could walk around it in a couple hours at a leisurely

pace.  So much fun.  So many amazing ideas and crafts.

217/365 I was so going to stay home...

I had absolutely no intentions of going out tonight.  Even though I told Kristin, "sure that sounds fun,

maybe I'll stop by."  I really wasn't going to go.  Before I really even knew what happened I was in a

parking garage in the Gaslamp, with Vanessa who was practically pulled from a hot tub and pit into the

car.  But of course still managed to look amazing.  Needless to say I had an amazing time dancing and

laughing the night away!  Thank you ladies.

216/365 Toe nail Time!

So as soon as I got home, well on my way home I sent Kristin a text and set up a day and time for

pedicures.  I had to get the Montana washed off and the Cali painted back on!  I can't stand it when I have

ugly toenails!  I went blue this time...obviously!

215/365 Home

Finally home from an amazing Summer away.  I am missing Montana, but looking forward to the "real"

beach.  Grande Maddy came over to hang out with Sophia today.  They had so much fun, but when did it

get so hot here?  Yikes!  They look like sisters...I'm sure Sophia would trade one of hers to have Maddy

for a sister.

214/365 Found God in Vegas!

Travel day two.  Vegas and Toquerville.  Not much else to say, I'm just glad to finally be home!
