Dinner at BJ's

Dinner at BJ's, for Sophia's birthday turned out to be a bigger affair than planned!  I mentioned to Kristin we were going to BJ's and she said they were already going with the Elders.  So we crashed their party.  Madison wore Blake's stormtrooper helmet the entire night (I'm not sure how she ate).  Side note:  I have noticed Troy has been improving his photo bombing skills, I think he might need his own little post at some time.  Hummmm, something to consider.

Rollin' with the Browns

Kristin dropped in for a visit, which usually consists of us chatting for a few minutes then me using her for her amazing brain and talents to fix settings I don't understand in Photoshop.  Then we enjoy libations, then back to the computer.  Pictures, pinterest, Facebook or something.  It might not sound fun to you but to me it's and enjoyable and kick back night.  Tonight while we were computing the kids took the golf cart out for a drive.  We had to take a few shots *disclaimer Kristin took both these pictures, but I "messed" with them a bit.  And they are on my camera so I'm posting them!  They were really posers tonight.  It made for some hilarious pictures.  These were our two favorites.

Sadie's 8th Birthday

Birthday party success!  All the work put into the party was worth it.  Sadie loved the candy buffet and all the girls got all jacked up on sugar.  After all isn't that what they really want?  Happy Birthday Sadie.  Keep your sweet self sweet!

Sadie's Sweet Shop Sleepover

Man can you find amazing things on pinterest or what?  I got inspiration from all over the internet, and I think everything looks great.  I am so excited for Sadie's party tomorrow.

Track Meet & Geocashing

Big Junior High track meet was today.  Sophia was in a relay race and the shot put.  Madison ran in the 4 by 100 and the mile.  Her relay team ran out of gas at the end but she got second in the mile.  The girl who placed first was a friend of hers from her soccer team this past season, the same girl that beat her in the cross country meet earlier this year. She worked really hard for that ribbon and we are so proud!

We were in a geo cashing race for Troy's birthday tonight.  Boys vs. Girls.  Boys won, but not for lack of trying!  I say next year we go straight to the restaurant and enjoy cocktails while the boys run around like chickens with their heads cut off!  It was a super fun night.

Twin Day!

It's time again for twin day, you would think that the kids would eventually figure out that twins are only two kids.  Two outfits are easier to put together than 4 or 5 but alas, no.  More work for us but they definitely make for cuter photos!  Madison decided that since most of her twins were blond she needed to wear a wig.  I can't decide what is bigger, her actual hair or that insane wig!  Cute Ladies!

Muddy Mommies

I went with a group of ladies to a "mud run." Now anyone who thinks that doing something like this is fun seems a little off to me, but whatever floats your boat.  I just went along for the company and to take pictures, good thing I wore my boots because it was raining and muddy most of the day.  I wore a parka too!  It was seriously cold.  I can't believe how great everybody did though, I really have some amazing friends.
