195/365 Ring the bell the Brouwers have landed!

I am so excited to get to spend several days with Heidi and her family, and yes I got pretty close to

finished before they arrived.  I was still hanging pictures and my cow skull (yes we have a cow skull) but

the furniture and stuff was put away.  We have already had some fun today on the quads and in the tree

house. I am sure it will be a memorable week.

194/365 Only one day left!

So Chris and Heidi are arriving tomorrow in their fifth wheel, even though I stayed up until all hours of the

night last night I still have a ton to do.  The girls have camp all week, but Sadie finishes up at noon so she

has been helpful today.  I just hope I'll get close...

193/365 Bling

So I had another jewelry class today, where I made some really pretty pounded sterling earrings.  I also had

a massage.  Where exactly am I going to get the time to move all this stuff?  I don't know but I am

definitely not canceling the massage to move boxes!  Hopefully some magic time appears because there is

no way to have this done by Thursday when the Brouwers get here.  Oh by the way here is a picture of the

Sapphires we mined on Jeremy's birthday.  That's what they look like raw, I know they aren't all blue and

none of them are dark.  To make sapphires that dark blue color you have to heat treat them.  I personally

like them in their natural color.  Especially the pink ones.

192/365 Another Sadie Picture

I went back to moving a couple things today, I didn't get too much done.  I just wasn't that motivated.  

Until I got a call from Heidi!  They might be coming, and arriving on Thursday, we will know for sure 

tomorrow.  Holy cow that's only a couple days away.  I have so much stuff to do and no time to get it 

done.  So I went for the standby photo...smile Sadie.  

191/365 Happy Birthday Jer!!!

Today my husband turned 38.  I know we are totally old.  Anyways we mined for sapphires together we

found a couple cool ones, Sophia found a beautiful one I plan to swipe and have made into something.

Then we went out to the Victor Steakhouse (Jer's favorite restaurant).  Finally we went home for cake pops

and presents.  Madison made the cake pops.  She made little aliens and monsters.  They were so cute!  Jer

got an ipad and beer club membership, so he was pretty excited.

190/365 Shirking My Responsibilities

Forget the move, let's take a class!  As most of my friends know I love taking classes!  Learning something

new is so much fun, especially if it's crafty.  So my Mom has recently become a crafter, which is a little

weird for me as that has been my sole position in the family.  But she wanted to take some jewelry making

classes while I am here so we did!  And look what I made.  I thought It was pretty cool for my first try.  It

is sterling, fresh water pearls, and aquamarine.  I can't wait to wear it!

189/365 - Slowly Moving

Today we started packing up a few things, we are moving from our little apartment (which I love) to a

smaller apartment over my parents garage.  There are pluses and minuses to the move I would say the

biggest plus for me is that I will have internet and TV again!  Wahoo!  But first the move their old house is

also completely filled with stuff so we have to get it all out because renters are moving in late July.  SO I

want to start today.  Jer and I aren't really on the same page with all this but I know there are some busy

days ahead and I don't want to have to hurry.  Anyways, about todays picture, I don't really have anything

to say I was on my way out the door to go out for dinner (Stockfarm again...yum) and my Sadie stopped to

pose for me a little.  I really love how this photo turned out.  A little different, but still a picture of Sadie

which I'm pretty sure everybody is getting pretty tired of...not me though! This is window light, by the

way, which makes for some of my favorite photos.
